When I last went home to our hometown in Samar in February, we chased the sunset in the nearby delta, bringing my cousins along to replicate the photos I took over there last summer.
It was only when we went back home to Pagsanghan just before it got dark when WE WERE REWARDED WITH ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS I HAVE EVER SEEN —which means it was really beautiful given my crazy penchant for sunsets.Words failed me. Well, except “wow” and “thank you”.
And once again, a lesson learned: That the best photos are not planned and that the best & most beautiful sunsets are truly God’s gift, a magnificence that we cannot demand for but is given to us as with grace. And our most cherished dreams, just like the most beautiful sunsets, need not be desperately chased, but should be allowed to unfold, in God’s perfect time 🙂

Wishing all of us more serendipitous sunsets 🙂 Cheers! 🙂
