After the whole morning seeing the sights in and near Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, we were finally off to Saud Beach! 🙂 For lunch, our tour guide James recommended either Saud Beach Resort or Polaris Beach House. Since we had a budget and we knew we were going to be hungry, we chose Polaris which is the less expensive option.Polaris is seemingly located at the edge of Saud Beach. We passed through a wide, quiet area with lots of coconut trees, which gave a nice shade and perfectly complimented the strong breeze coming from the sea.
According to B., the accommodations in Polaris were very basic and the rates are cheaper than our resort, Kapuluan. However, you won’t really waste the difference in price since rooms in Kapuluan are nicer :)The food was good —but I must say we were very hungry after our sightseeing. 🙂 Here’s a picture of their menu (click on the picture to enlarge):
They just had very small servings. So be sure to get the whole orders and not just the half order for each dish. Here’s what we ordered:
Grilled Fish (P400)
And finally, a last look at Saud Beach from Polaris on our way back to our resort 🙂

hmm i can’t recall kung sa polaris din kami nag lunch dati hehe, parang ang layo naman ata if sa kapuluan pala kayo naka check in?
Hi Christian! We rented a van which took us around Bangui, Cape Bojeador then afterwards, we decided to hang out in Saud Beach since we were already checked in at the Blue Lagoon area. Good thing because the water at Saud Beach was much calmer than in Blue Lagoon, so having lunch in Polaris was just perfect.
