Lookbook Hong Kong: Day 4

The fourth day of our trip to Hong Kong started out being quite chilly. So I went out of our hotel wearing flat boots and tights. Then after our morning spent in Ocean Park, the chilly air gave way to quite a hot day. Good thing I was prepared for the schizophrenic weather—I just removed my tights and swapped my boots for good old ballet flats (the packable kind which I liked to carry with me in my bag) and I became as comfortable as ever.

But later on, when we had afternoon tea at the swanky Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, I just felt a tad bit underdressed. So the only way I could think of to spruce up my outfit was with a bright scarf, which I also kept in my bag, just in case the weather would take a cooler turn.I say, traveling really does test our fashion choices—from having to edit our clothes when we pack, styling our clothes to suit our itinerary, then adapting our outfits when the weather changes in the middle of the day and we don’t have time to go back to our hotel! Expanding my fashion sensibilities and marrying my love for fashion and exploring—yet more reasons to love travel 😉 Cheers!
