On our first day in Macau, the first thing we did after we settled and got over our Royal Suite and admiring the sights of the hotel was to ride the gondolas in the Venetian Macao, which was (and still remains) the must-do activity when one is in the Venetian.
We bought our tickets in the Boutique di Gondola, which was easy enough to find since all guests get a free map around the humongous hotel. We also paid for some official 8 x 10 souvenir photo, which they put in an official Boutique di Gondola folder.
The gondolier led us through the winding “canals” of the Venetian Macao. It helps to bring a sense of irony/ humor to an attraction like this. Authentic Venetian canal experience it is not, but if you think of it as more in the likes of a theme park attraction, then you can definitely enjoy the experience.

At early evening, we left the Cotai strip (where Venetian Macao is located) for my first sight of the main Macau island and off to Wynn Macau for dinner.

Later that evening, coming back from dinner at the Wynn, speeding by the lights of the Macau bridge at night and more photo ops at the Venetian.
