True enough, it did get cold—at least for me. I developed a fever exactly at twilight, complete with chills. So it was really a good thing I had the jacket and scarf with me. All the better to keep off the cold and ward off Halloween’s haunted ghouls and spirits!
For day 6 of our 8-day Hong Kong holiday, layering once again came to my rescue. Started out the day with just a shirt and shorts—as simple as can be for enjoying the sights and attractions of Hong Kong Disneyland. But based on the sartorial lessons from my fifth day in Hong Kong when we braved the cold of Victoria Peak, I thought it best to bring a jacket and a scarf just in case it gets cold in the evening again.
