One of the first things that we did when we arrived in Hong Kong Disneyland was to eat our late lunch in one of HK Disneyland’s premier restaurants, Plaza Inn. This restaurant is operated by the Maxim’s Group, a renowned restaurant group in Hong Kong.
Plaza Inn is basically a swanky Chinese restaurant but since it’s located in HK Disneyland’s Mainstreet USA section, it’s made up to be a Chinese restaurant with an American Victorian-themed interior. Plaza Inn is definitely Chinese fine dining at its best in HK Disneyland.
While there were plenty fine dining options, we decided to have dimsum. The prices were quite expensive (about HK$40-HK$60 per dimsum order, which will already get you full meals in other restaurants in the park). So, it was a good thing that our meal in Plaza Inn was my travel companion’s treat!
I also love the touches of whimsy (like the Mickey-shaped carrot dumpling topping in the very first photo above) and these mouse-shaped dimsum. Cute and creative! 🙂
The total bill was HK$343.20 (or about P2,000), which is really quite expensive for dimsum. But eating at Plaza Inn in our first time in HK Disneyland really just made it a more unforgettable experience.
Fabulous travels! Cheers! 🙂

Mahal! But it’s Disneyland so I’d be more surprised if it wasn’t expensive. =)
